Gym & Fitness Center CPR Readiness

High exertion, high footfall

Gyms are environments of high physical exertion. While sudden cardiac arrest can happen anywhere, fitness facilities must have robust emergency response plans. Automated external defibrillators (AEDs) are critical, but early CPR is equally important before defibrillation can occur.

AED and CPRAIDR®

AHA and ERC guidelines emphasize both early CPR and early defibrillation. An AED analyzes heart rhythm, while CPRAIDR® acts as a CPR assistant guiding manual chest compressions. VitalSigns states CPRAIDR® is a standalone device that can be used in parallel with defibrillators.

Visibility on the gym floor

A one-minute round-trip walk is a common operational target for emergency equipment. Wall-mounted CPRAIDR® devices, alongside AEDs, ensure that staff or bystanders can initiate guided adult (18+) CPR immediately while awaiting EMS (995 in Singapore).
